SmartChain Limited is seeking a disciplined, experienced, and security-trained Executive Driver to provide safe, reliable, and discreet transportation support to the Chief Executive Officer.

Role Overview

Location: Lagos, Nigeria
Employment Type: Full-time, On-site
Accommodation: Provided

Key Responsibilities

Safely transport the CEO to meetings, events, and business engagements.
Plan routes proactively, considering traffic, safety, and punctuality.
Apply strong situational awareness and professional security principles.
Maintain the assigned vehicle in a clean, fuelled, and roadworthy condition.
Conduct daily vehicle safety checks and maintain trip and maintenance records.
Protect the confidentiality of the CEO’s movements and conversations.
Respond effectively to emergencies, security threats, and road incidents.
Support occasional business travel outside Lagos.
Remain available for early mornings, late evenings, weekends, and urgent movements.

Candidate Requirements

5–10 years of experience as an Executive or Security Driver.
Background in the Police, Military, DSS, or another recognised security or intelligence service.
Experience supporting senior executives, business leaders, or VIPs.
Strong knowledge of Lagos routes, highways, and interstate travel logistics.
Valid driver’s licence with a clean driving record.
Police, military, or security-service training.
Defensive or security driving certification is an advantage.
High integrity, discipline, discretion, and alertness.
Ability to remain calm and make sound decisions under pressure.
